Info:
- Virat Kohli has been in great form and has hit fifties in last two games. With 181 runs to his name, he is the leading run scorer of the tournament. Back him as RCB top batter. With the ball, RCB will need Mohammed Siraj to do the job for them. Siraj has been ordinary but he has the skills to bounce back strong. Back Siraj to pick at least a wicket in the match.
- Virat Kohli loves to deal in boundaries and given the form he is in, there will be plenty coming against LSG. Punting on Kohli hitting more than 4.5 fours in the match looks a safe bet at the moment.
- Chinnaswamy and sixes is a fairly-tale love affair. The ground is known to see colossal sixes. In the last game, total 20 sixes were hit. Once again, total sixes should be over 17.5.
Live Streaming:
TV channels: In India, the match will be available on Star Network. The match will also be available on Sky Sports (UK), Fox Sports (Australia), Sky Sport NZ (New Zealand), SuperSport (South Africa) and Willow TV (USA).
IPL 2024 Live Streaming: The fixture will be live-streamed on Jio Cinema in India. In Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, the matches can be watched live on Yupp TV. Other channels where the match will be streamed live are Willow, Foxtel Go and Kayo.
Toss Predictions:
Chinnaswamy is a very small ground and defending here is not easy at all. In the last game, RCB failed to defend a score of 182 thus teams would be keen to chase.
Weather & Pitch Report:
Weather: ⛅
The weather will be clear and the temperature will range around pleasant 20s. The breeze would help the ball travel the distance easer.
Pitch: 🏟️
There is no help on offer from the surface and it is no secret that the pitch is one of the best to bat in India. Also, the short boundaries and quick outfield make it tailor-made for high scoring games.

Team NEWS:
RCB Team News:
Lockie Ferguson is in line to replace Alzarri Joseph in the playing XI after the Windies pacer’s ordinary run in the last few games. RCB would also be mulling over playing Will Jacks but they don’t have overseas slots available. They can, however, replace Joseph with Akash Deep and get Will Jacks in place of Rajat Patidar, but that is an unlikely scenario so early in the tournament.

🏆 Winning Chances:
RCB are slight favourites to win. They have the home advantage to their side. Also, Virat Kohli is in great form thus even if one of Green, Maxwell or Faf plays a big innings, RCB can post a huge score on the board. Their bowling looks weak but if they have enough runs on the board, RCB can attack a little more and put LSG under pressure. The visitors have a strong batting but they have shown they can get nervous under pressure, especially if they lose early wickets. RCB are favourites to win.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru to beat Lucknow Super Giants.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru a 67% chance to win this match
Lucknow Super Giants have a 33% chance to win this match
Key Players:
Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli has been the lone warrior for RCB. After scoring 77 in the first game, he played a magnificent knock of 83 against PBKS. Kohli has scored 181 runs in IPL 2024 and leads the charts of most runs this season.
Cameron Green
Cameron Green showed signs of a return to form in the last game and scored 33 in 21 balls. However, RCB need many more runs from their overseas batters. Having got some runs under his belt, Green would be looking to make a bigger impact. Also, LSG have a few spinners and Green can decimate them.
Glenn Maxwell
Maxwell also looked in some form against PBKS and scored 28 in19 balls before throwing away his wicket. Maxwell needs to be sensible and play with some responsibility. Slogging every ball won’t work. He has all the skills to be match winner for RCB and it is time for him to stand up for his team.
Vijaykumar Vyashak
While ever other bowler went for plenty against KKR, Vyashak gave just 23 runs in four overs. He bowled tight lines and also got the wicket of Phil Salt. He can be backed for another decent show.
RCB Possible Impact Player Substitutes
Mahipal Lomror, Suyash Prabhudessai, Karn Sharma, Will Jacks, Dinesh Karthik
It is obvious that RCB would go with Dinesh Karthik as impact player. However, if the top order scores runs, they can also use Karn Sharma.
Lucknow Super Giants
KL Rahul
Rahul is one of the mainstays of this LSG batting and he will have a big responsibility of taking the team to a big score at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Rahul plays the anchor role in LSG, allowing others to play their natural game. Rahul scored a fifty in LSG’s first game against RR.
Quinton de Kock
De Kock was in full flow against PBKS and blasted a fiery 54 in 38 balls. The left hander would be eager to bat on a flat Bengaluru track against a bleak RCB bowling attack. De Kock can be devastating in the coming game.
Krunal Pandya
Krunal Pandya will be handy for LSG with his all-round skills. Against PBKS, he scored a crucial 43 in 22 balls, helping the team post a great total. Also, he can be useful with his left arm spin and create problems for the likes of Maxwell and Green.
Mayank Yadav
Yadav has played just one game so far but he has already got the experts buzzing with his skills. The pacer bowled at 150 kmph consistently and rattled PBKS with a three wicket haul. He single handed turned the game in favour of LSG when PBKS were running away with the match.
LSG Possible Impact Player Substitutes
Deepak Hooda, Ashton Turner, Amit Mishra, K Gowtham
Deepak Hooda will be used as impact player if LSG lose wickets and need a batter; else Amit Mishra or K Gowtham will come in if LSG need a spinner.

Toss: Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won the toss and have opted to field
Pitch Reports: Pitch number 7 which was used for the first game against Punjab Kings - 175 was the score. Average first innings score over here in the last few years has gone up to 196. What I have seen straightaway on this pitch is that it's very dry. I think there will be spin, especially for Glenn Maxwell. We saw the other night (RCB vs PBKS), Glenn Maxwell was getting turn. Both spinners for RCB were getting turn - the left-armer and the off-spinner. This pitch is very dry. It's the highest turning ground on average this year in the IPL. This area outside the off-stump for the right-handed batsmen, this is the sort of area that Maxwell will be looking to pitch the ball. It's almost like a riverbed, very dry, a lot of these cracks don't move but right next to these cracks, there's a little bit of grass as well. The ball will behave differently whether it pitches on the brown bit or the green. It may be slightly two-paced. The odd ball turns, the odd ball goes straight. A very good pitch for bowling spin" - Murali Kartik and Graeme Swann.
