• Rohit Sharma is a top choice for MI best batter. Rohit has looked in great touch but has lost his wicket at wrong time. However, he has form behind him and Wankhede is a productive venue for him. Rohit can be backed as top batter for MI. Jasprit Bumrah is a world class bowler and bagged three wickets against GT. He was brilliant against SRH as well. Back him as top bowler.

MI have not played bad cricket but the captaincy from Hardik Pandya has been questionable at times, resulting in defeats. Pandya needs to be very smart as a captain. If he keeps things simple, MI have a very strong team on paper and can be very hard to stop if they pick momentum. It should be a close game but MI should register a win.

Rohit Sharma has looked fluent during his stay at the crease but the big knock is still impending. Rohit has played knocks of 43 and 26 in two games. Once set, Rohit should look to play till 10 overs because that should be enough for him to put MI in a great position.

 Tilak Varma 

Tilak Varma played a brilliant innings of 64 in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He kept the team in the hunt for a massive 278 run chase. Varma was MI’s star last season and is one of the key batters of the side in the absence of Suryakumar Yadav.

 Gerald Coetzee 

Gerald Coetzee has been ineffective so far but the conditions in Mumbai where there is a bit more bounce should suit his bowling style. He is a very good bowler and will be hungry to make an impact in IPL 2024.

 Jasprit Bumrah 

Bumrah is a legend in his own right. He has been sensational as ever this year. Even when MI conceded 277 runs against SRH, Burmah went at an economy of just 9. He was top notch in the first game against GT and picked three wickets.

Jaiswal has endured two failures in the first two games but given the form he has been in recent times, a big inning is loading anytime soon. Jaiswal has a knack of scoring centuries and we won’t be surprised if he opens the account at Wankhede Stadium.

 Riyan Parag 

We are seeing a new Riyan Parag in IPL 2024. After years of trolling, Parag has finally joined the party. He has played game changing inning in both the matches played so far. RR were in trouble against DC but he scored 84 in 45 balls to take the team to a safe total of 185-5.

 Yuzvendra Chahal 

Chahal has been a game changer for Royals and he has done exactly the same in the current season. The leg spinner has been magnificent, taking three wickets in two games at an average of 14.

 Trent Boult 

Wickets with the new ball will be key for RR and in Boult they have someone who can be lethal in the powerplay. Also, left arm bowlers have troubled Rohit Sharma a lot so it will be a match up everyone will be looking up to.
